Belated Happy New Year all. It has been so long since our last update I thought I’d do a catch up but in stages.
These first photos are up to the concrete pour for the foundations. We cleared the section and put up the boundary fence and got all of the services in.

These photos show from the concrete pour and include the frames and trusses going up and then lining the carport ready for the roof. We have been extremely lucky with the weather leading up to the roof going on. There was no need for the dehumidifier this time to dry out the framing. The metal cladding has also gone on and we are waiting on the flashings to be made.

So the building is almost finished on the outside and it is up to interior work now.
Apart from building Neil & Dianne’s place we have had other things happening and here are a few photos to bring you up to speed.

Not a lot of words this time but I think the photos give a good account of what we have been up to. Other than this I have been doing a few casual shifts on Patient Transfer ambulance that goes between Greymouth and Christchurch, as well my cleaning job at an airbnb. Al also has to fit in his architectural work in between building and our regular ambulance callouts. In February just because he hasn’t got enough to do already Al is doing a FENZ pump operators course. Then in March a Lines Level 2, as well as starting the Diploma with the end result of joining me as an EMT. Go Al!
Until next time see ya folks – Margie & Al
Loving your work as always, Margie and Al great job! Well done, weather looks fabulous over there xx
Thanks Annie and still having great weather 🙂 xo
